This is the third course dessert at Bread and Ink off Hawthorne : Belgian Waffle hot fudge sundae. Bread and Ink was Sweet D's choice for her birthday dinner. Highly recommended.
you can check it out here: http://www.breadandinkcafe.com/
here is a description from their site:
Located in the center of Portland's Historic Hawthorne shopping and arts district, Bread and Ink has been serving an eclectic menu for over 25 years. At Bread and Ink, every dish is created using as many locally sourced ingredients as possible.
We serve only natural meats, poultry and wild seafood, local vegetables, and breads and pastries that are baked fresh daily in our bakery. Our constantly changing menu and attention to detail create a truly enjoyable dining experience. The first two courses do not disappoint. We have been going here for a couple of years now and have never had less than great service. The wait staff is stellar, the menu has the right mix of selections and tasty drinks and the location offers plenty of adventure once you are done with your meal.
Total Win.
