First off, let me say that after heated discussions and debate and reflection i am ready to say congrats to the effing Los Angeles Lakers. THEY did it. The celtics had them beat early and it looked as if they were able to put down any runs that the lakers tried to make. Doc Rivers had a great plan for kobe and he was reduced to throwing up bricks and initiating contact for cheap fouls and complaining to the refs that he got touched. THE CELTICS HAD THIS GAME WON if it only played for 3 quarters. The major problem in my opinion was that once they noticed the raper holding and waiting for the double team to pass out of it doc needed to call it off since they were now being beaten to the rack by fisher? and odom? (i like odom ex clippers represent) The Lakers played great team ball even big softie gasol and artest came through like gangbusters. His therapist should get an award. He was ready. he was fundamentally sound on offense and what you expect on defense. Everyone contributed for the lakers in the 4th. Far and away if the sane version of Artest doesnt show up the doc rivers defensive plan wins them the game. With this being said and artest scoring and defending the rapist even made time to do something other than throw up bricks at will and wine quietly to officials after he gets touched. And just because he is the unofficial "leader" of this team they just hand him the mvp cuz he pulled a couple of rebounds. he should always be looking for rebounds and doing all the intangibles to get "his" team a win. so if you are wondering that is my major beef with kobe ( get it). Bullshit. If anyone deserved the mvp for the game it was artest and he even tried out his acceptance speech during the post game interview. he carried the lakers quietly and consistently in game 7. Kobe honestly didnt have a good shooting series but i attribute that due to defensive scheme. It had to be the role players to win it and one did.........Ron Artest. GIVE HIM HIS PROPS. HE SHOULD BE MVP OF THE GAME 7. MUCH RESPECKS.....
