To keep our new Sunday Adventure Brunch, try a new restaurant going, we decided to head out to Alberta to try a spot called:
Francis restaurant.
Address:

Phone: (503) 288-8299
We have tried to go here a couple of times like with cadillac cafe but this time we made it out here before 3 and were able to get a table. The inside was nice mixing of classic dark wood furniture and comfy ass chairs with ceiling murals. The wait staff is typical of the same people you would find just wondering around alberta on a last thrusday.Very nice wait staff. If you go here make sure you have time to chill. It will take a while to get seated. It will take some time to give and receive your order. However, that time was filled with conversation, picture taking, people watching and a 32 oz Bloody Mary served in a mason jar. The only detractor so far were the fear of ants. D-wrong and Carrie had come here the previous weekend after massages and there table had ants so we made sure to sit at the opposite end of the place. There were no ants at our table. The food was amazing and thats not just the bloody mary talking. The pancake at Francis and the home made maple syrup was straight up delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal as did d-nice it was a great place to recover from saturday nights open bar at the crown room and drinking with carrie at some bar on clinton st. for her birthday. Come to think of it we did Melanies (hotmom) birthday at Benihana earlier that day also, it was an action packed Saturday. Benihana was a first for me and d-zire. It was ok. Drinks were good. So we had a lot to recover from. We took a walk down alberta after brunch to take in the sun but our allergies were getting the best of us so we packed it in and headed back home. Overall place was A+ for price, location, parking, decor and eats. Go Here.
