Beast

I made the reservation for beast over a month ago.

We started out at Expatriate. Tasty ass expensive drinks. Extra points for having vinyl and playing JDilla tracks while we were there. Dope.






Next we headed across the street to Beast. It was an experience. It was cool to see them prepare everything in front of you and explain what each wine, plate and course that you were about to eat. Super extra points for playing Gangstarr the majority of the evening.

I usually do not trying new things. New motto is to live a little. Boo wanted to try this spot so here we are. I ate everything. Everything was good. I may not seek this kind of food out but I was happy and satisfied when it was over. Definitely go here for the experience and great food. Expensive but worth it.





 first course was roasted pepper rouille fennel tomato and clams. good.
 Second course Charcuterie: steak tartare, Quail Egg, Chicken Liver Mousse, Leaf Lard Cracker, Foie Gras Bon Bon, Sauternes Gelee, Pork Sausage, Pork Shoulder and belly rillettes, Orange and fennel cured pork loin.
 Sorbet Pallette Cleanser
 Harissa rubbed Lamb Leg with Camargue red rice and roasted Cauliflower with Lamb Jus
 Persimmon and Red Grapefruit Salad with aragula and toasted pecans
 cheese selection with candied hazlenuts
 Orange Olive oil cake with buttermilk and black pepper sorbet and passion fruit curds? it was fucking awesome.
