CAT TAGGER

This video tries to capture the brief moment in LA graffiti history featuring some of the works of the cat tagger. The video ends with an art show the opened in November of 2010 at Mid-City Arts trying to raise funds for his legal fees. Enjoy!

All Half Off Everything.

UpperPlayground is having a 50% off sale on everything in store and online.
You are silly if you do not take advantage of this. They are begging you to purchase something...art, cans, shirts, shoes, whatever. Just buy something and buy it quick, I believe the sales ends today instore and in a couple of days online or something like that. This is what we scooped.

Alex Pardee

We haven't been going out very much lately. We have missed the past couple of first Thursday art walks due to work, sleep, work, tired, so yesterday I decided to go check out what show i missed this past first Thursday. It was a show for Alex Pardee. These paintings were so vivid and interesting to me that I picked up Sweet D from work and took her back to take a look and that is where we kinda fell in love with a particular painting. The fact that everything was 50% in store and online only fueled our (my) intentions on not leaving empty handed.

guess which one we took home?

This one was taken from the second floor of compound where they had a special presentation of art about the portland trailblazers. I was only able to get a good photo of this one due to them packing up boxes and stuff from a sample sale they had this past weekend. I will probably make time to get back up there when the coast is clear.

sunny and cold

For the first time in a long time yesterday in the eveing there was no rain, the sun made an apperance and it was a pretty nice day by portland standards. Sunny and cold.
For this occassion I broke out a new pair of sneakers.
I have no name for these, they are just some gr (general release air max) but the color way got me. (orang/navy/white)

Random Access Memory

Steven came through in the clutch for us earlier this week by passing on some memory that he could not use.
He has an ungodly amount of ram in his server and just had no use for this type of ram so he floated it to me and Sweet D for her pc.

thanks steven
ps. she is now playing farmville 3x faster than before.

Victory Green

Sweet D knows me so well. When its time to pick out gifts for each other I have to poke and prod and basically flat out ask what she wants. She says that I am easy to get stuff for. There are only a couple of things that I always want or think I don't have enough of. SHOES.
So she scooped up these air max 90 acg for me. dallas penn from dallaspenn.com says that we can call the shoe whatever we want and at the time that i am writing this i am not sure if these even have a "name" but I am calling them the victory greens or anniversary max (as they were given as part of an anniversary gift), victory green is a color that was used on the shoe and the price point that she got them at cannot be beat.
51.00 bucks at the ES. That is a victory.
